What is collected

  • Analytics — anonymised audience measurement. No attempt is made to identify individual readers.
  • Advertising — this site carries advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies and process data to select and measure ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland this is subject to your consent, collected through Google's certified consent management platform.
  • Contact form — the name, email address and message you submit. The form is handled by FormSubmit, which forwards the message by email. It is used to answer you and for nothing else: it is not added to a mailing list and it is not passed on.

  • Answering a message: legitimate interest in responding to a request you initiated.

Retention

Messages sent through the contact form are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. Advertising cookie lifetimes are set by Google and are described in its own policies.
